Life has lessons...many, many lessons...

I've always said one of the things I love about my job is that there is always something to learn. I'm a little late to the party but I'm learning how to use an amazing and powerful tool in the photography world. This should cut my editing time significantly - which means you all get your proofs sooner - and what lovely proofs they will be!

Proofs are generally not edited beyond making them viewable. With my new found skills ;) your proofs will more closely resemble the finished print! I've never considered myself a computer geek, but even I can get excited about technology like this ;)

No more pencils, no more books...

My little guy finished his first year of preschool this year. Yeah, I know I'm a little late with these... I just cant get over how grown up he has become. They do a lot of growing when they're three!
Doesn't that just make you smile? I love that uninhibited joy they have at this age... [and doesn't he have nice teeth? ;) ]

All of the kids brought flowers for the teachers on the last day of school. T took this VERY seriously. Such a little man :)

Clean up, Fix up, Paint up...

When I was a kid, my elementary school had an annual clean up, fix up, paint up parade. Kids would make floats and dress up - all to promote recycling, fixing things, etc.. Yeah we were green before the whole going green thing was cool. In the spirit of clean up, fix up paint up parades - We are sprucing up the web site! Everything should remain functional over there through out the process. Clients' proofing galleries should still work. Things might look a little out of sorts but we'll be back together in a few days! In the meantime - Enjoy the parade!!

Class of 2010 - and 2028? A summer of seniors and newborns...

This is shaping up to be the summer of newborns and seniors! (Two of my favorite kinds of sessions...) My high school senior sessions are booking up fast, dates are still available for late July and August so book your date soon!

Was there a baby boom I didn't know about?? I've booked more newborn sessions in the last month than I've done all year. I'm not complaining - there's no other way I'd like to spend an afternoon than photographing a bran-spankin new baby! If you're expecting, be sure to ask me about the baby steps program.
