Typos, schmypos...

Ok, so I don't claim to be perfect. In fact, I pride myself on being somewhat imperfect, a work in progress so to speak. Before announcing the Mother's Day contest, I missed an important fact. Mother's Day is on the 10th - not the 12th. This may confuse some since the winner will be notified on Mother's Day. Of course I did not have the good fortune of figuring this out BEFORE ordering my signs, cards and marketing materials soooo... I've done my best to hand write in the correct date on everything. So all entries must be received by the 10th of May and the winner will be notified on Mother's Day. I apologize for the confusion!!

...and mostly I'm sad that my pretty signs are now, like me, imperfect :(

Spring is officially here! I was so happy to use some Spring-like props on my last newborn session. Also a first for this year - a redheaded newbie! I do love a carrot top baby... and baby "E" had plenty of it!

Happy birthday sweet boy!

My little guy turned four this week. Four. That's when they are officially NOT a baby anymore. We spent the day visiting his preschool class - where he preferred to play trucks and "floor games" and not "messy art". This birthday is all about Lightening McQueen - though I think the last birthday was too...



Don't ask why we had to have five candles... Sometimes you have to pick your battles.

Time After Time...

I was lucky enough to work with some great families this past year and some pretty adorable babies too! Many thanks to the families who've trusted me with some of the most precious moments of their lives. I hope you all enjoyed the experience as much as I did. I can't get away without saying a special thanks to my awesome husband. Thanks for being so patient those many hours I spent in front of the computer, for being the best assistant when needed, for "getting it" when I say things like "I want to put a baby in a tea cup...", and just for being there this year. Olive juice, baby, olive juice. I should also say something about my cracker jack babysitter, always there when I need her (mostly because she lives here...). Alexis, you rock chica!
After some reflection on this past year, I'm ready to look ahead to 2009. I've assembled some of my favorite images of 2008 and... 2009 desk calendars are here! New Years Eve with Belly Laughs...

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe holiday! I spent the afternoon of New Years Eve with super fun parents to be "A" and "P". They are eagerly awaiting the arrival of baby E. While they have to wait a couple more months for their baby girl, they wont have to wait too much longer for their maternity proofs! Here is a sneak peek guys:
